Before it became Fig & Olive, it was EazyCook a simple idea born quietly, in the small moments after long days. Drained by the long process of preparing meals in a place where pre chopped vegetables, spice blends, or ready-made marinades weren’t common. Cooking took so much time and energy that the joy of it was often lost.
That frustration sparked a question: What if cooking could be easier?
In 2017, EazyCook was born, with the vision to simplify cooking for everyday African households. By 2021, our first product launched: white hibiscus iced tea. It wasn’t the chopped vegetables first envisioned, but it carried the same heart making nourishment more intentional and accessible.
The brand evolved into Fig & Olive, a name that reflects our commitment to creating thoughtful, intentional products that celebrate Africa’s agricultural heritage. It marks a fresh start and a vision to make premium African ingredients accessible to households everywhere.
